The Dev Team have released version 0.9 of their iPhone unlocker Ultrasn0w clearly to spite GeoHot for his Purplesn0w unlock that he released a few days. GeoHot claimed this unlock was much for cleaner and small than the Dev Team’s version and the Dev Team have announced that there new version is ‘nearly 7000 times smaller than it’s nearest competition (Purplesn0w)’ and they say that GeoHot should ‘ stop dicking around and look at the bootrom instead kthx. =P’. A new type of app has sprung up onto the AppStore which only works for the iPhone 3GS. It is a metal detector app that only works on the iPhone 3GS.

Saurik has come up with a solution to the Winterboard and iPhone 3GS problem. He has updated his MoileSubstrate and WinterBoard items and they are now compatible with the iPhone 3GS. There is not much else to say except update your MobileSubstrate from Cydia and download Winterboard (make sure it’s version 0.9.2958) and theme away!
George Hotz, or GeoHot as he is better known as, has released a Mac version of the previously solely Windows Purplera1n jailbreak for the iPhone 3GS.
