This is for the iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G users who don’t have a Mac machine at home so cannot use the PwnageTool for OS 3.1 to jailbreak their devices.
Luckily, thanks to a guy called Vegetaqtd, he has put together some custom IPSW for the iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G with different combinations of being unlocked and hacked. Elite999 on the QJ.net forums (a great forum by the way) has posted a brilliant guide teaching us exactly how to install custom firmware on any PSP (PSP 1000, 2000 & 300o) no matter what motherboard they have.
