As promised, GENyUS have released 5.50GEN-B, an updated version of their latest custom firmware 5.50GEN-A. It includes improvement for the VSH menu, easy pandora battery makers and it has disabled (its buggy but works) the new Sony protection in games that detected if the PSP was hacked or not and didn’t allow the user to play the game. Homebrew developers have released v3.50 of their custom firmware enabler for the PSP. This allows users to use all the functions that a PSP with custom firmware M33 has using the ChickHEN exploit.

Thats right y’all. GENyUS have came to fuitition and have release their custom firmware 5.50GEN-a, the only custom firmware compatible with the latest and greatest PSP firmware 5.50. This custom firmware works both on PSP phats and PSP slims with with TA-088 v1 and v2 motherboards.
