The Dev Team have released an update to their iPhone unlocker called Ultrasn0w which unlocks iPhone with Baseband under 05.11.07. The update fixes the carrier naming problem that quite a few people were suffering from. You can download the update through Cydia (it should appear automatically).

If you have an iPhone with 05.1107 (ie doesn’t work with Ultrasn0w) and want to unlock it, use Blackra1n.

The Fuzzyband application has been updated to now support iPhone 3G on OS 3.0. This app upgrades/downgrade your baseband to 4.26.08 which is the one needed for Ultrasn0w to work. Read the rest of this entry »
