I have just made the jump from OS 3.0 to OS 3.1.2 on the iPhone 3GS and encountered an error that when I did some research seems to be affecting quite a few users out there. 1. The “Sync Notes” feature in iTunes is not working:

RESOLUTION- Restart your device and restart your computer. Then try to run this feature again in iTunes.

2. The YouTube application is not working or not working properly:

For all the folks out there who want to protect their iPhone’s from the SMS vulnerability but don’t want to loose their OS 3.0 jailbreak do not fear because of two reasons.

1. The baseband included in the new firmware has not been altered meaning you can use the Redsn0w jailbreak for OS 3.0 on 3.0.1.
2. Saurik has announced that he shall be making his OWN patch for OS 3.0 that patches the SMS vulnerability so that you do NOT need to update.
