Apple have starting counting down from 112,000 towards a massive 10 billion music downloads from iTunes since iTunes was created in 2003.

To celebrate this, Apple have decided to hold a competition for the person who downloads the 10 billionth song gets a $10,000 iTunes gift card.

Sky, the most famous television company in the UK, have decided to tap into the music industry and have gone ahead and released their beta of Sky Songs.

Sky Songs is a website where you pay a monthly fee of £6.49 gives you unlimited access to streaming their huge collection of music and gives you DRM-free music downloads in mp3 format working with your iPhone and iPods. Read the rest of this entry »

It has been confirmed that Apple are going to have their yearly iTunes and iPod, named “It’s only rock and roll, but we like it”, event this year on September 7th.
