Hard Candy Shows Their iPod Touch 4g Case

Hard Candy shows off their iPod Touch 4th generation case. It looks like there is a camera hole, with microphone, but no flash. And the camera is positioned on the back in the upper left hand corner. I guess we will see what the iPod touch will look like for sure at tomorrow’s event.

iPhoDroid, an easy-to-use automatica install for Android OS on your iPhone 2G or 3G, is coming to Windows very soon! A pre-release version of the program has been released to testers and the full version is expected to be released to the public on Sunday.

Wifi Sync for iDevices to be announced on September 1st?

Jailbreakers have been able toe enjoy the luxioury of wire-free syncing for a while now due to the Wifi Sync application found on Cydia. However, according to sources close to AllThingsDigital have hinted that wireless syncing  may be official hitting all iDevices at Apple media event on Wednesday, September 1st.

This year at E3, Gameloft, one of the biggest iPhone gaming developers there are, announced that they were working on bringing the web-slinger himself to the iPhone. We hadn’t really heard much about the game, entitled Ultimate Spiderman Total Mayhem, since then, until now because Gameloft have released a trailer as well as some screenshots for us to ogle over. Dev Team: No Jailbreak for iOS 4.0.2/3.2.2 – Wait until iOS 4.1

The Dev Team have posted an update on their website explaining why they won’t be releasing a jailbreak for iOS 4.0.2 and iOS 3.2.2 users due to the fact that there is no point in updating to those firmwares. This is because the latest update simply fixes the PDF exploit that is found in lower firmwares, but if you are jailbroken on iOS 4.0/4.0.1, you can install the Cydia version of the fix without the need to update! Latest update of Netflix supports the iPhone and iPod Touch

But a new update to the application has been released which allows iPhone and iPod Touch users to stream movies straight to their device using their Netflix subscription on the Netflix application! Forget what Bloomberg said about the Apple event being held on the 7th of September, Apple have started issuing invites to their media event which will be held on the 1st of September. Mark your calendars folks! New iPods and a new iTV are expected to be on the menu for this event.

Google Goggles coming to the iPhone by the end of the year

During a conference at Stanford University, Google engineer David Petrou has announced that Google Goggles, a visual search engine for (currently) Android enabled phones, will be arriving for the iPhone before the end of this year. iTunes Accounts linked with Paypal are getting Hacked

Yet more bad news from the Apple account. Only a month after the iTunes scandal where some hackers managed to hack into numerous iTunes account and buy their own apps in an attempt to get them into the top 10 of the App Store. Apple are in the process of trying to get a new patent which would allow them to detect and then disable the iPhones of unauthorized users. It would first appear that this is a good thing to disable things like stolen phones, but when you read the description of the patent, it more or less says jailbreakers are included underneath the unauthorized user umbrella.
