According to the Federal Office for Information Security, Internet Explorer has got a hole which could potentially allow hackers to access all your details and information that you transmit through the browser. Fraud Alert: 21 Million Hotmail Customers Affect Change your Passwords Now!
I just saw this scary, worrying article in the Daily Mail with the title of ‘Fraud Alert for 21million Hotmails customers’. I read the articles and it was full of worrying information.
Apparently recently there was a mass cyber attack on hotmail accounts where 10,000 European user’s (so far) Hotmail, MSN or Live emails passwords were stolen and posted to the public on Pastebin.com. Read the rest of this entry »
Warning: Twitter Worm is Spreading Through Twitter’s Direct Messages
Twitter users beware! A new worm is being spread through Twitter’s usersphere through DMs or direct messages where a supposed ‘friend’ will send you the following message and if you click on the link in the message, you will be spreading the worm!
Many Sites Hacked Through MyBB Forums
This is just a heads up for all the people out their who run MyBB forums on their websites to watch out. Quite a few technology websites run includings Tysiphonehelp.com (won’t post a link because there all empty), Kima6636’s website, and more have all been hacked through their forums.
It has apparently been known that there was a hole in MyBB but until now, no one has really taken advantage of the hole. Now they have in some sort of synchronized hack. Read the rest of this entry »
VeriSign Launch Phish or No Phish Game
VeriSign have launched a new game called ‘Phish or No Phish’. It is a game which allows you to test your skills at figuring out whether a site is a phishing scam or not.
