Hey everyone! Did you miss me?  It’s time for today’s free game!  A hack and slash masterpiece of art, it’s Samurai: Way of the Warrior! (iTunes link)

In Samurai: Way of the Warrior, you play as Daisuke Shimada in a 16th century Japan reigned by terror.  The evil Daimyo Hattoro spreads fear across the land, and you as a sole warrior must stop him through a series of hack and slash levels against numerous enemies and sometimes end bosses, until you reach the palace which he has taken the power of. Now this one’s worth talking about.

Blacksmith Games, a game development company, has a promotional service throughout the month of December.  From the 1st to the 22nd games in the AppStore will be made free for one day and one day only.  On the 23rd and 24th there’s gonna be a surprise: it won’t be a game, but it’ll be cool nonetheless!

So until the 24th we’re gonna have articles up each day letting you know what the free app is that day, as well as a review to let you know if it’s any good!
