Forget what Bloomberg said about the Apple event being held on the 7th of September, Apple have started issuing invites to their media event which will be held on the 1st of September. Mark your calendars folks! New iPods and a new iTV are expected to be on the menu for this event.

Orange UK to Offer iPhone

O2 are soon longer going to be the sole iPhone distributors in the UK. The deal between them and Apple is going to end on Oct. 9 and that is going open the way for other carriers to jump on the iPhone bandwagen.
