O2 are soon longer going to be the sole iPhone distributors in the UK. The deal between them and Apple is going to end on Oct. 9 and that is going open the way for other carriers to jump on the iPhone bandwagen.

Originally, a dialogue box would pop up saying you have already purchase this, would you like to re-download it for free?
