Dear readers,
As some of you may have noticed, AllTechRelated has been going through bit of a rough patch in the past month or so, due to no one ‘s fault but my own, as my life had become very busy with exams, and to be quite frank, I had lost some of my love for blogging. However, do not fret, we’re back and stronger than ever! Welcome to AllTechRelated 2.0!
What is AllTechRelated 2.0? It’s the relaunch of the AllTechRelated website, which brings a couple of new features and improvements to the website. Some of the new features include:
- An new server! Recently, the AllTechRelated website was becoming a little slow for my liking, and therefore I have forked out for it’s own virtual dedicated server, meaning it’s many times faster, and allows us more space to expand in the near future!
- A revamped ATR help center! Email support was a good idea at the start, but didn’t allow other members of the community to have their say in attempting to solve user’s technical woes. The new ‘Q&A style’ system allows you to ask technology related questions to which anyone can answer and try to help solve the problem. You can visit the new system at support.alltechrelated.com.
- A new range of topics to report on! We have never really been true to AllTechRelated’s name, as generally the only news we posted about on here was iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or PSP news. We hope to change that, bringing a whole new range of topics to the homepage including Android phones, Windows mobile phones, gaming news and much more!
- Paid writers! I have finally decided to introduce two paid writing positions on the website (one which has already been filled by a friend of the website Josh). I believe having these two writers will help cover the new range of topics we’ll post on and therefore, keep the website even more up-to-date than previously. If you are interested in filling in the other vacancy, please do not hesitate to contact me (must have previous experience with blogging).
In addition, here are some more things you can expect to see in the near future:
- Many more application/game and product reviews!
- Many more competitions!
- AllTechRelated’s very own Cydia repository!
We hope that these changes are met with enthusiasm and that you are as excited about the changes as we are! Together, let’s bring AllTechRelated back to and beyond what it has been in the past!
