I feel sorry for the guys over at iH8sn0w who have been working their butts of to get Sn0wybreeze, a Windows port of PwnageTool, released and now the MuscleNerd has announced on his Twitter that they will be not only updating Redsn0w to work on 3.1.2 but PwnageTool will also be ported for Windows.
In a previous Twitter, he announces that he found the original source for the Redsn0w and therefore will be able to finally port Redsn0w to work on OS 3.1.2. This does NOT mean they are releasing non-tethered jailbreaks for the iPod Touch 3rd generation and iPhone 3GS with the new bootroms.

..will port it to 3.1.2FW if there’s any interest (mac+win+linux)
Along with this, he has posted a screenshot showing us that we will finally get to have custom boot logos on 3.1.2.
