The Nintendo 64 emulator for the iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3rd generation has been released by Zodttd a day or two after he released a demo of the emulator. It also includes support with the WiiMote so you can control your player using it!

Sadly it IS a paid application and costs $2.50 on the Cydia store.

Features:

  • Support for the Wii Remote via Bluetooth;
  • Emulation dynamic fast CPU;
  • Sound is included;
  • Download the ROM of games from the same;
  • Using Open GL libraries | ES 2.0;
  • Supports ROM:. N64 and. Z64 and archives. Zip and. Gz

You can find N64iPhone on the Cydia store.

EDIT: After downloading the application, I can know tell you what I think of it.

It does not run perfectly smoothly but does work well enough to be enjoyable. The joystick is not on the screen but is controlled by the accelerometer on the iPhone/iPod Touch. With the WiiMote, it is the same ie it also uses the accelerometer. In some ways it works quite well but it is still pretty hard to control your charactor. The WiiMote is easier than the on-screen controls.

I’m not sure if the emulator is worth the $2.50 at this stage as it is fun and cool to have but I cannot imagine myself sitting around and playing a game actively on it.

That’s just my two cents :)
