PSX4iPhone, the Playstation 1 emulator for the iPhone and iPod Touch, has been updated by Zodttd the creator for firmware OS 3.1.2. However he states the speed-wise there is not too much difference and for the emulator to really ’shine’, you need an iPhone 3GS or iPod Touch 3rd Generation.
The emulator can be downloaded through Cydia on the Zodttd & Macciti source that should already be on your device.
This has been a long time coming, but my schedule is just now starting to free up. I have updated psx4iphone to also support the 3.1.x series of firmwares. Included in psx4iphone v1.1.0 is a fix for a bug causing the non-scaled landscape screen to display properly.
Don’t expect too much difference in performance. This emulator will still require an iPhone 3gs or iPod Touch 3rd Gen to really shine. I will be working more on this emulator as I get more free time.
You can download psx4iphone from the ZodTTD Repo which is built-in to Cydia via the included community sources package. This means it is also available via RockApp, Icy, etc. Brief installation instructions are provided within the package info.
If you run into any issues with psx4iphone v1.1.0 feel free to ask for support via the comments. Just remember, don’t ask for ROMs/ISOs or where to get the BIOS.

I own an ipod touch the generation primair with firmware 3.1.2, I’m using some of its products as emulated Game Boy and SNES Both are fantastic and were worth every dollar spent, but the download psx4iphone not obitive success could download the file. bin requested and downloaded two games but with both not had success with one for the emulator simply is closed to start the second is the same with the screen with the control but did not start the game …
I need a helping hand some of his understanding.

Perhaps there is something with the .bin file. Have you tried downloading another from another source? Have you got any games to work on the emulator or no?

So I got to download the bin but it was with uppercase, so I rename it to stay in tiny,
I downloaded two games but they do not even run the opening.
I do not think it matter if it is uppercase or not. So you have tried download the bin file from another site as well? Which games are you trying th play?
