In a survey conducted by the folks over at Strategy Analytics in the USA and Western Europe a whopping 50% of iPhone users wish their iPhone had a physical keyboard.
The iPhone keyboard is pretty good in my opinion but naturally a physical keyboard would be better. They have been many a time when I have tried to type a ‘M’ or ‘L’ and have clicked on Backspace instead.
Another advantage of having a physical keyboard would be that more of the screen would be used for showing the web page or note of SMS that you were typing.
The survery which was asked to 2,500 people ended up with %50 wanted the physical keyboard. They have been some solutions to the iPhone keyboard in the past such as the iTwinge which is a plastic solid keyboard that you slip on like a sock onto the bottom of your device.
