Engadget have done some internet tests between the iPhone 3GS, Netwalker and the Archos 5 on two different internet browsers. The results are in and the winner is the Archos 5 with the WebKit internet broswer.
Granted that the Archos 5 is deemed as an internet tablet but despite Apple updating to the iPhone 3GS and supposedly making it 2X faster, they are not at the top of the market with internet speeds. It is a small difference but a difference none the less.
Also a tip for Archos 5 users, do not use Opera 9, use webkit. It’s a nearly 3 seconds faster on average.
