It has been confirmed that Apple are going to have their yearly iTunes and iPod, named “It’s only rock and roll, but we like it”, event this year on September 7th. The event starts at 10AM ET at the Yerba Bueana Center for the Arts Theatre in San Francisco, California.
Expected to be shown in the event are new iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Classic all with 3mb (?) cameras. iTunes 9 is also expected to be released at this event with its social networking and iPhone app mangement.
Also there is something called the ‘Cocktail’* album packages which is said to make an appearence and there have been rumors that The Beatles’s songs will finally begin to be sold on iTunes. Plus iPhone OS 3.1 is also said to be released.
*The ‘CockTail’ features for iTunes is in an effort to try and improve sales of full albums on the iTunes. New features would include a new interactive booklet, sleeve notes and other interactive features with music downloads.
