The latest version of the Safari Download Plugin is now being sold on the Cydia AppStore for $2. Some people cannot afford this or are unable to tranfer the money (don’t have Paypal etc) but instead of pirating it, here is a way to get the version before the one where you need to pay for it, for free.
This one isn’t as indepth as the newer version. The $2 plugin allows multiple downloads in the background whilst you surf. This one is the old fashion one where you can only download 1 file at a time.
However it works on 3.0 so its good enough for me.
It’s not much of a trick but what you need to do is download DTunes from Cydia and included in that download is a free version of the Safari download plugin for 3.0.
Plus with the DTunes, you can watch/listen to everything you download using the Safari Download Plugin.
So install DTunes from the ModMy source (already installed on your device).
