Do you guys remember MxTube? For those who don’t, it was a YouTube video downloader built for the iPhone and iPod Touch. That was back in the 2.X days and up until now hasn’t been updated for 3.0. Well someone has decided to take it into his own hands and has released YourTube – an addon for the YouTube.app.
This version is actually more advanced than in predecessor MxTube because this one is built into the YouTube app using a MobileSubstrate addon.
Notice the extra button on the top right of the screen. Thats what you press to download the video. This app also gives you an option of downloading either the high quality of low quality version of the video.
The only downside is that this app is to be released onto the Cydia store meaning its got a price (to be decided).
The app does not yet have a date or release but apparently its in the very near future.
The videos downloaded are all in .mp4 format so it makes it easier to copy onto your computer and sync them properly onto your computer.
Watch out for this one guys! I have a feeling its going to be a definate buy.
