HomeHD is the newest version of Lauro’s iHome theme. This version is FULLY compatible with the OS 3.0! There are two different version, Lite which is for the average Joe which is easy to install and then there is Full which is for people who are confortable with moving things around in their iPhone/iPod Touch’s filesystem.
There is a version for the iPhone and a version for the iPod Touch. You can also download the 2.5 version of this theme (called HomeHd 2V for some reason) version from MacCiti’s repo at: http://macciti.com/cydia/

looks nice….but you already have all the icons on the desktop…why have to press another button to get to them?

what do i do on page two? im using an ipod, so i do not have sms, phone or camera as shortcuts. what do i put here instead?
Firstly, have you downloaded the HomeHD4iPod file? I’m not sure about the order but I know on page 1 there is Music and page 3 is iTunes. Maybe page 2 is Video?
i put a blank icon in place of the icons i didnt have and it worked fine
also, when rearranging the springjumps and webclips, my shortcuts for video, youtube, and music all disappeared. strange, but when i deleted the springjumps and webclips through ssh, the shortcuts all came back….this stuff is rather confusing.
Hey nice theme, though for some reason after having replaced my 2.5 ihome spring jumps and webclips files with 2.7 my games page, “page 7″ on the top bar has dissapearleaving me with pages 4-6 a blank than 8. As well a random PdaNet icon has appeared which doesn’t excecute even with the app installed. So i was wondering is there anyone to remove that icon and as well get my page 7 back onto my games page? Thanks.
About the page 7 thing, try turning off, rebooting and then turning on the page titles in the SpringJump application.
You can probably remove that Icon by going into the IHomeTheme folder on your iPhone/iPod Touch and deleting the one called PdaNet.

here is no guide specifically for the landscape version. Though using the normal version and the screenshots, it should be too hard to figure out. But I did find the programs you would need to install: :BlankNull, Five Icon Dock, Five-Column Springboard, FiveIrows, Flip MobileMusicPlayer, WeatherIcon, LiveClock.
Apparently there are no tutorials for landscape version, but i am guessing you use the 5-column dock

Theme works great, I have changed a few things (like putting a folder instead of settings and replacing icon).
I’m using the landscape one.
But the thing is because I use different IM programs and because it’s an iPod, different calling programs – how do I add icons for these?
I’ve tried making the icons in photoshop and putting them in the icons folder but it’s not working?
I have tried;
Category002.png – doesnt work.
Twitterrific.png – works.
VoiceMemos.png – doesnt work.
ebuddy.png – doesnt work.
How can I get these to work? I see no files to change to do this and it doesn’t seem to do it by itself.

Well, for the images have to be name (case sensitive) as the labels for the icon. For example, for the categories, depending on what the category is called, Game or Apps, they icons should be name accordingly as Game.png or Apps.png.
For the ebuddy one, try eBuddy.png and make sure that is the exact test that appears under the icon when you have no theme selected.
First i was out of blank icons so iu when to iblank and clicked five thinking it was only going to craete 5 more it created like 3 pages of blank icons so no i have 3 empty blank pages and i can see the page 0 , 1, 2,3,4 at the bottom any ideas how to fix this?
I would navigate to private/var/mobile/library/webclips (I think) and delete the ones you don’t need.
hi, when i use springjumps i only get one set of icons so i out them on the page0, then i have nothing to on the rest of the pages?, can someone help me please.

Perhaps the file name was misspelt. Check it within the theme’s folder. It should be Settings.png
Wait.. I did everything, but the icon for ipod, app store and the others are not big they are the same size? What should i do? Also the setting icon is the same.
The theme worked fine for me, but I have one issue. I can’t use the jump icons because I’ll go and enable the springjump icons, but they aren’t on my springboard, anywhere. Any help? Thanks.
Try rebooting your iDevice.
Nevermind, it’s fixed. I just reinstalled the SpringJumps App and it worked fine. Thanks anyway though.
I don’t know y but when I try to hide my “extra” applications in categories nothing happens. THey are still there. And I rebooted my device already. HELP? thanks
You mean they stay in the Category? Yeah you will need to unselect them in the Categories application and then they will dissapear.
Hey again. I have a couple more questions. When I download the icons pack, it comes up as a .zip folder. When I go to SSH the folder into my iPod (that is what I’m supposed to do, right?), am I supposed to keep it as a .zip file, or do I extract everything and SSH THAT in?
Also, when SSHing the contents onto my iPod, where am I supposed to put it? Is it /private/var/stash/Themes.jD70sK ??? Or is it elswhere?

You are supposed to extra the .zip file and copy all the picture files inside into the Home theme icon folder in /private/var/stash/Themes.jD70sK not in /private/var/stash/Themes.jD70sK itself.
OKAY I know you guys probably don’t want me here, as I’m asking a TON of questions, but I clearly can’t figure this out for myself…
Anyway, before I had the HomeHD 3.7 theme downloaded, but earlier I switched to the HomeHD4iPod theme. I set it all up according to what I could understand in the tutorial provided. But I have a couple issues after activating the theme.
One thing is that on every single page, towards the bottom left of my screen is a tiny search icon (looks like a magnifying glass), and it moves one page back on my springboard every time I tap it. Before I activated the theme, I made sure my icons were in the right places, so I’m not sure why this is there.
Second, my springjump icons only work on the bottom row (these springjumps are in the dock, so they work no matter what page I’m on). However, where do I put the springjumps for the top row of pages? If I were to put them on the first page (home page on the theme), they would only work if I’m on that page (not every page). Am I supposed to have a set of springjumps for the top row on every page (i.e. 9 of each springjump icon; one set for every page)?
Sorry for not being able to help myself, but I’m kinda new at this, so any responses are great. Sorry for cluttering your comments.

I don’t think you can do anything about the little search icon. That icon corresponds to the page on your SpringBoard with the Spotlight search feature. Or perhaps it is something else? Perhaps if you could upload a screenshot to tinypic.com and then show it to us?
I think there are duplicates of the SpringJump which you can find in the files you download. Look around for things with something.app in them. You will need to place them in the /Applications folder on your iDevice.
Thanks for all your help. The only problem left now is the search icon. I took the screenshots and uploaded them, but they’re kinda small, so you have to zoom in on the pictures. It’s also blurry (on the screenshot, not on my actual iPod), but you can still see something towards the bottom left. (Don’t mind that the “settings” icon isn’t there.) I hope this somewhat helps.

The first pic has a red circle around the problem, the rest don’t.
Yeah that is the icon for the Spotlight search on your iDevice. I found a package on Cydia which will hide this icon for you. It is called ‘No Spotlight Icon’ and you will find it on the MMi repo (the repo is already on your iDevice). Hope it helps!

You use the normal guides and but have to slightly play around with it yourself to get it to work. There is no guide specific to the landscape one. Though it shouldn’t be too hard to get it to work.
I think you need to include more detail on how to set up the ipod touch version! the tutorial is for the iphone only!!
I’m using the iPod version of this theme and on page 4, I think, with the iPod icon, there is a musical note (page 2 icon) between the iPod icon and the bottom of the screen. If you move the iPod icon, the note moves with it. How do I fix this?
Also, when there is the red bubble on an app icon telling you you have unread mail or you need to update apps, it displays as a black blob in the middle of the icon. I need to fix this, too…
And one last thing, where can I get or how can I make icons that are the size I want them to be for this theme?
I have installed HomeHD 3.7 to my Iphone and everything works fine apart from my notifier bar at the top of the screen. All the icons on the notifier bar are constantly lit. I have [AddOn.Notifier] activited in winterboard but cannot figure out why it does not work, does anybody know how I can fix this problem.

But I too got some problems:
My Icons are all the same size, the middle icon is not bigger than the others. How can I get them to look like in the screen-shots?
My second problem is that I have an additional icon which I cannot get rid of. It comes I think with the MobileMusicPlayer and I cannot put it into a category!

Really great theme but I have a few complaints. First, the settings icon is a bit too low, 2nd, the apps inside folders are square (and yes I have Categories SB) finally, I can’t find an iTunes Left icon but I can gust make one
