MyWi is a new app created by Rock Your Phone which allows you to create a wifi hotspot on your iPhone with a press of a button. It is basically a way easier way to create a tether between your iPhone and computer plus with some added bonus features.
This app allows you to add either 40 bit and 104 bit WEP Security to ensure that it is only you that are using the tethered wifi spot.
This app broadcasts its network name so you can use it just like you would any other wifi network. No more fussing around with adhoc connections.
This app uses less battery than it’s jailbroken app equivalent PdaNet plus this shows the up and down bandwidth use.
NOTE: This does not work with the iPod Touch 2nd Generation.
