Hey Everyone, I downloaded one of the iNav themes and didn’t really like the functionality of it. So i opened it up and used it’s inner workings to create this. I have the files in a zip, Extract and add .theme to the end of the name to make it a theme file otherwise the files are there to learn please credit this tutorial if modded. Also included a springback file of my current icon layout(be sure to have your icons matching before using the layout backup!) Hit the break for the tutorial and concepts behind it.
So when creating this layout I kept in mind that the icons placement is not a HUGE restriction on where your “icons” are.
As you can see in this layout the “Dock” icons stay the same and the “Scenery”(Page0.png and Page1.png) slides to the next page but still the characters make sense in their new surroundings.
The rest of the icons move with the Scenery the first page(Page0.png) is set up with the Dock icons and Snake as Camera.png and Fox as Safari.png this is what i saved them for, changing the name to any other Appname.png will change the icon for that app(/Library/Themes). The second page(Page1.png) consists of three icons for three folders or categories. Kirby as Games.png Mario as Apps.png and Bowser as Tools.png.
The scenery is overlayed on top of your wallpaper so that your wallpaper remains constant and the scenery slides across it similar to side scrolling games. This is done by saving your images as Page0.png and Page1.png and placing them in the theme folders first directory (/Library/Themes/Themename). **Keep in mind to capitalize the first letter of all custom files except iPod.png**
For the icons placement i used a full of icons layout i got from flickr. I used guides in photoshop to represent the “Hit spaces” of the icons and placed my new icons inside but not perfectly in every case in theese areas as shown below. You copy all the properties you want to represent the icon probably want to temporarily merge the payers to copy into a new transparent canvas and save as a .png.
The rest of my icons are from my favorite normal layout illuminous. But they are not shown on the front pages only in my folders. There are also some elements left from the MobilePod layout as far as sliders and some aspects of the lockscreen.

If you make sure page 0 and page 1 match that and use the springback backup it will safely move them all correctly.
