A new 3G baseband downgrader called Fuzzyband has been released which allows you to downgrade any iPhone 3G baseband up till now with just one click.
This excellent downgrading tool is by w1kedZ (coding) & DHowett (GUI).
For this app to work you must have 5.08 bootloader. The program checks this for you.
The way it works is through a small application that you install using Cydia (in BigBoss’s repo which is included with Cydia so you all have it, just search for 3G Fuzzyband and it should come up.)
- It checks whether or not you have the correct (baseband 5.08) and displays it.
- It checks your baseband and patches it. This means you can downgrade your baseband if its from 2.30 to 4.26.08 (from OS 3.0 beta 5)
As I mentioned earlier in the post, you can get this from BigBoss’s repository which is already on your iPods/iPhones.
