According to a person who is recruited by Apple. Twitter and Apple is in a heavy negotiations.
Facebook tried to buy Twitter , Windows and Google did too but right now Apple is the closest company to sealing the deal.
A source who has been recruited by Apple for a senior positions said that Apple and Twitter are in serious negotiations, with the goal of finishing their deal by June 8th, when the Worldwide Development Conference in San Jose launches.
Twitter didnt accept the $500 million offer by Facebook. But Apple could easily pay cash to buy Twitter. A source says that ” Twitter’s boad says the company would be hardpressed to refuse an all-cash offer in range of $700million”.
