A new application has been released on the PSP. A port of the computer application AirCrack which hacks Wifi password. Remember this is in beta.

Here is the release notes:

This is not an actual port of the aircrack-ng, this is a port of DSaircrack to PSP (Well actually now it is) . But this will not just consist of cracking the cap file but also finding an AP, dumping packets in a cap file then decrypt it!

Currently its in testing. The decrypting part doesnt work right now (I used the DS aircrack source for that), I will later on in the next release opt for the original aircrack function

And here’s the changelog for test 0.52:

NEW:

  • Lots of bug fixes [1 bug left, look at the warning]
  • WEP ptw attack function [It works and its fast]
  • Small file selector [WARNING: Files shorter then 9 characters will not appear]

OLD:

  • A Primitive GUI
  • Ap detection and selector (select witch AP to crack and see its info(security type, ssid, etc))

REMOVED:

  • the DS attack function (got replaced with one that works)

How to install:

Just stick the AirCrack-PSP folder in your Game150 folder or the Game 5.xx folder on your PSP.

Did you not read his the post. It tells you right in there to put the AirCrack-PSP folder in the Game150 folder on your PSP, if you do not know how to do that It means you shouldnt be doing it in the first place. This is only for PSP’s with custom firmware.

  3. Shawn says:

When I scan it comes up with all of my signals around me and says to press and hold [] to select my signal. What is this button on my psp? Never knew it had the bracket buttons.

  4. DJKMan says:

Actually, you don’t put it in GAME150. It works using 3.XX kernel and higher (tested with 5.XX actually). :)

The project thread for this can be found here: http://psp.wijou.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=815

    Enjoy! :D

I’m not sure about the answer to your question but I can say that these beta versions of the Aircrack for PSP don’t actually crack wifi YET.

OK first of all, this project isn’t finished. You still can dump (create and .cap) with it, and cloning your mac is not part of this port. Second of all, as much as i apretiate the effort here and reckognize how sneaky and low key it would be to crack a wep net with a psp. This gui takes the funn outta crackin wep, mind you im no expert, i do love the actual process. from macchanger to dump to inject, its way to funn.

  10. Coldstone says:

ok cool even if it cant thats still awesome but how long are we going to have to wait for this?

  11. no name says:

is it really works? bcoz i’ve select the SSID and after that the thing show key found, length 05: 1F 1F 1F 1F 1F.

    is that the network key?
